By visiting our site and/or purchasing from Yanantin, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service,” “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content. Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service. Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. 2. Product Nature — Made to Order
All Yanantin pieces are handmade and made-to-order in Peru. Production begins immediately after your order is confirmed. Because all items are custom-made, all sales are final and orders cannot be modified, cancelled, refunded, or returned once production has started. Minor variations in color, texture, or finish are inherent to handcrafted jewelry.
3. Pricing and Currency
All prices are displayed in USD. Prices are subject to change without prior notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service. For international orders, Yanantin covers all customs duties, import taxes, and DHL processing fees at destination. Domestic orders within Peru may include IGV where applicable.
4. Payments
We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Orders will only begin production after full payment is successfully processed.
5. Order Confirmation & Production Timeline
You will receive an email confirmation after placing your order. Production and preparation typically take approximately 4–6 weeks. We try to deliver your item as soon as possible, but this timeframe reflects artisanal production realities. This production period does not include shipping time.
6. Shipping & Delivery (DHL Express)
6.1 Domestic (Peru)
Deliveries within Peru are made via DHL. Transit time varies by region. Any delays related to logistics, customs, or the carrier are outside our control.
6.2 International
All international shipments are handled by DHL Express. DHL delivers with signature on delivery for all Yanantin orders. This ensures a higher level of security and reduces the risk of loss or misdelivery. If the delivery address is unattended, DHL may schedule a reattempt or require pickup from a DHL location. Transit time typically ranges from 3–10 business days, depending on destination. Yanantin covers all customs duties, taxes, and DHL disbursement charges. Delivery estimations may vary due to customs processing, weather, or unexpected carrier issues.
6.3 Risk of Loss
Risk of loss transfers to the customer once the package is handed over to DHL. Nevertheless, we will assist in resolving carrier issues when possible.
7. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds (Important)
Because all items are handmade, made-to-order, and produced specifically per customer request: No returns, no exchanges, no refunds. If you believe your product arrived damaged or defective, please notify us within 5 days of delivery via contact@yanantinjewelry.com, including photos and a detailed description. Please note: Minor artisanal variations do not qualify as defects.
8. Quality Control
Every Yanantin piece undergoes strict quality control before leaving our workshop. We inspect: Craftsmanship integrity, stone and material quality, finishing and structural precision. Only pieces that meet our internal standards are shipped.
9. Intellectual Property
All content on yanantinjewelry.com—including designs, images, text, trademarks, and logos—is the exclusive property of Yanantin Enterprises S.A.C. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any content without written permission.
10. Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with Peruvian law (Ley N° 29733).
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law: We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your purchase or the use of our website. Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the order in question.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Peru. International customers may retain certain rights under local consumer protection regulations.
13. Dispute Resolution and Jurisdiction
In the event of any doubt, controversy, or dispute related to the validity, interpretation, or execution of these Terms and Conditions or any related documents, Yanantin and the User expressly submit to the jurisdiction of the Judges of the Judicial District of Lima, Peru. For these purposes, both parties designate the addresses provided in the corresponding registration or purchase forms as their respective domiciles for receiving judicial and extrajudicial notifications, which shall be considered validly delivered when sent to those addresses.
14. Updates to Terms
We may revise these Terms occasionally. Any updated version will be posted on our website with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
